Shannon Babcock – Founder & President, Woman’s World
Shannon Babcock is the heart and visionary behind Woman’s World, a nonprofit born from her lifelong passion to uplift and support women in need. Guided by her faith and a desire to serve, Shannon was inspired by a God-given vision to create an organization that offers women a hand up during life’s most challenging seasons.
In addition to leading Woman’s World, Shannon works in real estate alongside her husband and is a proud mother of two beloved sons. She actively serves her church and community and has also answered the call to international missions, having served in Cambodia. With deep compassion and unwavering faith, Shannon is committed to making her vision a lasting reality.
Sofi Everhart - Vice President, Woman's World
Sofi Everhart brings a diverse professional background in talent acquisition, recruitment, and paralegal services. Deeply passionate about community service, specifically supporting women, children and animals, she serves as Vice President of Woman’s World. Her outreach has taken her to Cambodia and El Salvador, where she has provided education and mentorship to children in orphanages and helped build homes for underprivileged families through a local restoration organization.
On a personal note, Sofi recently celebrated her first wedding anniversary and is excited to be expecting her first child in October 2025.
Amanda Emigh - Secretary
Amanda Emigh serves as Secretary on the Board of Woman’s World, bringing a background in case management and extensive experience working with the homeless community. She has led community outreach efforts through her local church, organizing programs that provided food, clothing, and home repairs to those in need.
Detail-oriented and deeply compassionate, Amanda values hearing people's stories and helping them feel seen and valued. She is married and has one adult daughter.
April Dye - Treasurer
April Dye serves as the Treasurer of Woman’s World with a heart full of purpose and compassion. Deeply committed to her community, she has always felt called to support and uplift women walking through difficult seasons. Her love for the Lord fuels her passion for service—especially when it comes to offering encouragement and a helping hand to those in need.
Grateful for the opportunity to serve through Woman’s World, April is dedicated to making a difference—one woman at a time.
In addition to her work with Woman’s World, April has been a trusted Mortgage Advisor for over 20 years, proudly serving families throughout her community. She is married to her high school sweetheart, and together they have three incredible children and two dogs. The Dye family enjoys sports, traveling, and giving back through local volunteer work.
Melissa Hergert
Melissa is a dedicated mom of two, a passionate business owner, and a lifelong advocate for women’s empowerment. As the founder of multiple wellness-focused ventures, she brings over a decade of experience in helping individuals achieve personal and professional growth.
Through her leadership and heart-centered approach, Melissa is committed to supporting women in need, creating opportunities for healing, connection, and long-term success.
