What is Woman’s World
Woman’s World is a multi-faceted nonprofit organization run by professional women, who’s main goal is to give women in need a hand up. WW wants to aid in financially supporting women who have experienced domestic violence, divorce, poverty, depression, loss of a loved one, health/medical issues and struggling single moms. By loving these women, WW will aid in their recovery and grow their self-esteem in a Christ filled environment.

What the ideal Woman’s World will look like: first, we would like to purchase a two-story home, zoned commercial, that will house a retail store on the lower level. Our vision is that a female tenant will occupy the upper level, rent free for one calendar year, to aid in her financial recovery. The retail space would be divided into sections. Different rooms will house donated goods, woman made products, boutique items, and a food pantry. In addition to the living quarters upstairs, would be a meeting area used for board meetings, Bible studies, round table discussions, and a variety of life skill classes for the community.
Note: These programs will help female victims break free and build their self-confidence. Our newly empowered women would be equipped to reenter the world where they can create and maintain a beneficial environment in which to live and thrive.

How We Acquire Funds
Our fundraising efforts will include multiple forms. We will write grants and seek monetary donations from individuals, corporations, and other nonprofit organizations. The Community donated items (clothing, household goods, collectibles, jewelry, homes, vehicles, etc.) will then be sold in our store, on eBay, Posh Mart, and other online shopping sites. We also intend to host fundraising events and hold life skill workshops for voluntary donations.
